Ldr is published by the National College for School Leadership and is dedicated to the subject of school leadership. It features informative advice and guidance to headteachers and provides an accessible way to access current news, developments and issues affecting school leadership. The magazine is published four times a year and print copies go to all schools in England, local authorities and education organisations. Award-winning ldr
In November 2007, Ldr swept the board at the Communicators in Business Northern Region awards.
Beating over 100 entries from across the region, Ldr was winner of the overall Communication of the Year Award. The independent panel of judges thought ldr was an "informative, appealing and inspiring publication produced with the target market firmly in its sights."
ldr also took 'gold' for Best Design and Best New or Redesigned Publication, and picked up 'silver' Awards of Excellence in the Best Writing and Magazine of the Year (up to four times a year) categories.
The magazine, which was first published in 2001, underwent a redesign last summer following the appointment of Nottingham-based graphic design agency Cubic.
