The aim of ldr magazine is to hold a mirror to good leadership practice. We look at how leaders tackle the many challenges of leading their schools, children's centres and children's services organisations, and share this with readers through a rich combination of case studies, opinion, advice and analysis. We want ldr readers to feel inspired, informed and supported by the magazine.
ldr magazine is published four times a year — in January, March, June and September. Print copies are sent to all 23,000 state schools in England as well as childrens centres leaders, directors of children's services, educational organisations, academics and policy-makers.
ldr is published by the National College for Leadership of Schools and Children's Services (formerly NCSL).
